Mike Klein, Ph.D., serves as Senior Vice President of CMC at ADAXION. Mike brings 35 years of experience in the biotechnology industry. His career has focused on CMC development of therapeutic proteins, including numerous antibodies and related proteins (Fc fusions, bispecifics, multifunctionals), and also protein conjugates. Mike has been responsible for CMC sections of regulatory filings throughout the lifecycles of over 20 products, with several of these filings being the first ones for their respective companies. Mike most recently served as Senior Vice President of CMC at Attralus, leading the CMC/GMP operations for the company’s therapeutics and diagnostics from candidate selection through Phase 3. Mike has also served as a CMC scientific leader at Nektar, Agenus, Atara Bio, Xencor, Protein Design Labs, and Amgen. Mike received his Ph.D. in Biological Chemistry from UCLA and was a postdoctoral fellow in the Division of Immunology at the Beckman Research Institute of the City of Hope.
